I started a 92-day juice feast on Thursday, January 7, 2010. I want to break some food consumption habits and this seems to be a way to do it. One of the habits is coffee and another is sweets.
So day 1 report:
4 quarts of veggie juice (celery, carrot, beet greens)
3 quarts of lemon water to which I added MSM and di-potassium phosphate.
I had a slight urge towards the late afternoon to get coffee - 'just a shot of expresso', I told myself, and I didn't do it! I do have a slight headache, and I know that will pass.
I went about my regular day - working in my kitchen, and planning next week's menu for my clients. I also attended a leadership training in the evening. I came home and was in bed, sleeping by 10:15 PM!
